Workplace Health provides Your Health, Your Choice at MaineGeneral, a results-oriented employee health and productivity management program. The program’s goal is to promote employee health and productivity through one-on-one health behavior change intervention designed to significantly reduce participant at-risk health behaviors over time. Program components include an employee health risk assessment, biometric data collection, and individual goal setting with ongoing support and follow up provided by a nurse health coach. Trained in the use of motivational interviewing techniques, Workplace Health nurses coach participants toward improved health behaviors and health care purchasing strategies.
